Winter Flowers

This 50x50cm painting on cradled board is strung and ready to hang on your wall. I have been inspired by flower bouquets, looking at colours, texture and beauty. I used oils sticks, acrylic paint and inks in this painting, which is protected by a varnish.

I use beautiful quality acrylic paints, mostly Golden acrylic, and Lascaux, and a large variety of brushes and palette knives, to drip, wash, smudge and paint the surface of the board, to create a rich and varied painting.I have tried to inject as much colour, warmth and vibrancy as I can onto this surface, which has many many layers of paint, oil stick and inks to give depth and texture to the painting.

This 50x50cm painting is unframed. It has white painted edges and is strung with picture cord ready to hang.
