Pastel Day, Camber Sands II

Abstract impressionist landscape, 20x50cm.

I live about half an hour from Camber Sands in east Sussex, and it's a beautiful large beach, sandy and backed with sand dunes covered in grasses. The tide can go out a long way, which leaves an atmospehric expanse of sand, and sky.

I use beautiful quality acrylic paints, mostly Golden acrylic, and Lascaux, and a large variety of brushes and palette knives, to drip, wash, smudge and paint the surface of the canvas, to create a rich and varied painting.
