Pale Winter's Sun, Field Edge

Abstract impressionist landscape painting.

Colour and nature are at the heart of all my artwork. January sun is pale in the sky, I follow the seasons in her garden and local fields. At this time of year, browns, pale skies and pale suns abound.

I use top quality Golden acrylics, and spend time layering the canvas with many shades of paint, flicking, using a palette knife, brushes rags and allowing paint to drip down the canvas in order to create a rich textured paint surface.

This 50x100cm canvas is unframed. It has white painted edges and is strung with picture cord ready to hang.
