Heather on St David's Head

70x100cm abstract impressionist painting. I am heading back to St David's next week, and beyond excited to visit this beautiful coast path again. Using paint and drawing I am making a re-creation of my impressions. It is my love language!

I use beautiful quality acrylic paints, mostly Golden acrylic, and Lascaux, and a large variety of brushes and palette knives, to drip, wash, smudge and paint the surface of the canvas, to create a rich and varied painting.

This 70x100cm landscape painting is acrylic on unbleached linen. It’s unframed. It has white painted edges, and is strung with picture cord.
