October

60x45cm abstract impressionist painting. Today is October 2nd, and the lush autumn colours are on their way. I live in rural Kent, and thoughts and I am washed with ideas around colour and landscape, they are part of my day.  I love the inspirations that come into my thoughts and fuel ongoing inspirations.

I use beautiful quality acrylic paints, mostly Golden acrylic, and Lascaux, and a large variety of brushes and palette knives, to drip, wash, smudge and paint the surface of the canvas, to create a rich and varied painting.

This 60x45cm landscape painting is acrylic on canvas. It’s unframed. It has white painted edges, and is strung with picture cord.
