Green Sea and Evening Skies

Abstract impressionist landscape, 60x60cm.

Dreaming of summer beaches, this painting is inspired by my many visits to West Wales, and the stunning coastline there.  I love colour and light at dusk, everything feels quite magical, and pale colours start to gleam in the half light.

I use beautiful quality acrylic paints, mostly Golden acrylic, and Lascaux, and a large variety of brushes and palette knives, to drip, wash, smudge and paint the surface of the canvas, to create a rich and varied painting.
