Summer Dreaming II

Abstract impressionist floral painting.

In January I am dreaming of summer, warm fragrant days with beautiful soft colours and shapes. This 30x30cm painting is heavily textured layered to make a satisfying and warm abstract portrait of a rose.

I use beautiful quality acrylic paints, mostly Golden acrylic, and Lascaux, and a large variety of brushes and palette knives, to drip, wash, smudge and paint the surface of the canvas, to create a rich and varied painting.

This 30x30cm landscape painting is unframed. It has white painted edges, and is strung with picture cord
