Light Mist, Light Morning

Early morning in the fields and farmland surrounding my home can be very magical, and we often have an early mist which rises and disappears before the day has really got going. I love the ephemeral nature of this, it's transience nature is part of it's magic.

I use beautiful quality acrylic paints, mostly Golden acrylic, and Lascaux, and a large variety of brushes and palette knives, to drip, wash, smudge and paint the surface of the canvas, to create a rich and varied painting.

This 25x35cm landscape painting is acrylic on canvas. It’s unframed. It has white painted edges, and is strung with picture cord.
