Waking To Spring
Abstract impressionist landscape painting.
Spring arrives every year, and in this very strange year it's more beautiful to me than ever. Celebrating the wonderful things this natural world has to offer is a driving force behind my artwork, and the brightness, freshness and vibrancy behind the fresh green and yellow of spring is absolutely joyful.
I use beautiful quality acrylic paints, mostly Golden acrylic, and Lascaux, and a large variety of brushes and palette knives, to drip, wash, smudge and paint the surface of the canvas, to create a rich and varied painting.
This large, 180x120cm landscape painting is unframed. It has white painted edges, and is strung with picture cord ready to hang.
