Towards Autumn (sold)
- Impressionist abstract painting.
- I live surrounded by banks on two sides of my home. Grasses weeds and flowers proliferate and it's getting that end of the season feeling here, colours intensify and those reds and deep pinks creep into the banks and borders.
- I love to use lots of watercolour like layers of quality acrylic paint, (Golden and Lascaux mainly) and build up the painting quite slowly, I then drop, and spatter paint to create a rich varied paint surface.
- This 30x90cm painting is unframed. It has white painted edges and is strung with picture cord ready to hang.
